The Great American State Fair – Opening Day

This is the marquee event launching America’s 250th anniversary celebration. The Great American State Fair is a once-in-a-generation World’s Fair-scale exposition spanning the entire length of the National Mall from the U.S. Capitol to the Washington Monument.

What to Experience
The fair transforms the National Mall into a modern celebration of American diversity and achievement, featuring:

State and Territory Pavilions: All 56 states and territories showcase their unique culture, traditions, innovations, and cuisine

The undercroft is a brand-new immersive museum experience opening to the public for the first time on June 25, 2026.

The undercroft features:

15,000 square feet of interactive exhibit space beneath the Lincoln Memorial
